제 12회 세도나 음력설 페스티벌

북부 애리조나 한인회(KAANA)는 2025년 2월 2일 일요일 오후 2시부터 5시까지 세도나의 340 Jordan Road (Sedona, AZ 86336)에서 열리는 제12회 설날 축제에 여러분을 초대합니다. 이번 축제는 “목(木)의 뱀” 을사년을 기념하며, 풍성한 문화적 경험과 다양한 공연들로 여러분을 맞이할 예정입니다.

Highlights of the 10th Annual Sedona Lunar New Year Festival

Dear friends,
We are glad to let you know that we had the 10th Annual Sedona Lunar New Year Festival on Feb.8th.
Our celebration was a success with more than 300 guests from our local community and beyond. This was a unique opportunity to enrich cultural diversity and expand friendship in our community.
We would especially like to thank the local business owners who sponsored our event by graciously donating so many amazing gifts!
Here are some of the highlights of the day:
  • Students from the Parangello Players after school drum class performed on the Korean drums.
  • Coming all the way from Phoneix to celebrate this event were a Korean traditional dance performing group as well as Ken Koshio, the leader of a Japanese druming group.
  • Our final performance of the day was a Chinese Lion Dance to announce the beginning of the new year.
We hope you enjoy the photos of some our more memorable moments from the event. All proceeds of the event are forwarded to ECO (Earth Citizens Organization) to support its mission for developing community culture for sustainability.
As always, we will continue our effort to promote the spirit of love and care for the community.

The 10th Sedona Lunar New Year Festival!

The Sedona Korean American Association (SKAA) is delighted to invite you to our 10th Annual Sedona Lunar New Year Festival on Saturday, February 8th, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Sedona Meditation Center, located at 340 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona. The celebration is free of charge and will include various exciting cultural activities, cultural performances, fortune telling, and traditional Korean games. Please come and enjoy the Lunar New Year festivities with your friends and family.

In support of ECO’s action, we also invite all of you to Farm-X and Farm-to-Table on Feb 17th at ECO Farm located in 3080 Hwy 89A, Cottonwood from 10 am till 2 pm. Celebration of National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day

Sedona Korean American Association(SKAA) visited Prescott Korean War Veterans Association on 7/20/2017.

Dami Kim expressed her deep gratitude to all Korean War veterans and wished them for healthy and happy lives.

Board members of SKAA also sponsored 5 Belly Button Healing Kits, books about self-healing, and very delicious & juicy organic peaches grown from Sedona Mago Retreat.

Happy Memorial Day!

Dami Kim, President of Sedona Korean-American Association was honored to be at the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Sedona Military Park today. Thanks to Judith who organized and all veterans in Sedona and Verde Valley area who contributed for this meaningful time for all of us.
Without you-veterans, we wouldn’t be here to celebrate our freedom and peace. Our deepest gratitude to all of you.
